Edible Bozeman

We’re fans of the classics, but there are times we like to experiment. For this cocktail, we start with rye whiskey by Bozeman’s Wildrye Distilling, add Dolin Dry Vermouth, a splash of Carpano Antica Sweet Vermouth, and several drops of Dashfire’s Orange Bitters. The resulting drink is dry and lies somewhere between an Old Fashioned and a Manhattan. Cheers! And please do drink responsibly.

1 ounce rye (or bourbon)
1 ounce dry vermouth
Splash of sweet vermouth
Several drops of orange bitters
Orange rind

Stir first three ingredients with ice cubes for about a minute then strain over a large ice cube in a rocks glass. Add a few drops of bitters and a twist of orange rind.
